Blog post #1 I am a Longarm quilter, Quilting Instructor, Certified Art and Stitch Teacher, and a Graphic Designer. I quilt with a Handi Quilter Fusion and enjoy every minute of it. Switching between freehand and computerized quilting is what most of my quilts are made of. I started Longarm quilting back in 1998 in a local Quilt shop. The Longarm quilter in charge of the department took me under her wing, literally. Harriet Creech was an amazing quilter and teacher up to her last day on earth. She taught me so much, since I really didn't know much about Longarm quilting at all.
After countless entries into quilt shows by myself and many of my customers, I earned many ribbons over the years everything from First Place to Honorable mention. In 2013 I decided that it was time to purchase a Computerized machine after operating a Non-Computerized Gammill for 11 years. While getting used to pressing start and the machine quilts for you, I developed the nack for digitizing designs to add even more personal touch to my customers quilts. I am currently setting up my I.N. Designz website, adding products to the site as they are being created. Everything from pantos, blocks, and even quilting outline designs for Embroidery machines will be available for purchase. So please stay tuned and I will post more in the very near future.
